Not the best photo, but a really great shooter from a time when Robinson Arms really meant something.

They really screwed the pooch when they abandoned that rifle. I was going to get one if they ever got the belt feed conversion going. Never did as far as I know.

Thanks for that post Schuetz! Looks like an Imbel gear logo on the Type 3, which looks just like the one on my STG-58.

It is an Imbel. I purchased it as a new stripped receiver and eventually built it into an Imbel folder kit Para type.

Compilation of my U.S. service rifle clones from the latter half of the 20th century.
Top: Springfield Armory M1A with original GI wood stock and faux auto selector.
Middle: M16A1 Clone; NoDakSpud receivers and a mixture of original and reproduction parts.
Bottom: M16A2 Clone; has gov't profile barrel.

Got the 1906 Swede around thanksgiving and the Stevens 620 last month.

the stevens was beat up pretty good and i had to do some work and welding on the forearm assembly and whacked the barrel down to 18" vs it's beat to shit 28" dented up original . was too cheap to pass up and i got maybe 3 hours into it work and blueing.

New for this year, another AR, but this's nekkid I thought I'd ready posted it, but maybe just not on this thread ... It's actually finished now with a black MagPul trigger guard

I'm not sure if this counts, but it's like a new gun even though it's just a new barrel for the x39 upper I got from Primary Arms/Bear Creek Arsenal and installed last night

I think this Zastava M85 in 7.62x39 is new this year too ...

That's too pretty to shoot. It looks like you've made a display model for some big gun manufacturer to show off at a trade show.....

    Beautiful.

I wonder if there is some patent that is preventing them from doing a loading gate. The original was King's Patent and it first appeared on the model 1866 Winchester rifle.

I thought it was more of a historical tradition that is still being carried on by Henry. Haven't they always used the tube loading technique?
