That is good. I have shot myself and lost a year of my life and still feel the results
everyday. I bet he will not do it again. pew pew pew....

No. It is an open story. It was Dec. 31 2006 and i have a military .22 clone out. My fault there was a round chambered, the safety was on but
I dropped the rifle and it fired. The round missed the big vein in my left arm 2 and 1/2 inches above my elbow and exited 1" above the 2 veins
that you see when you hold your arm open and look at where your arm bends. Elbow. I am not a veteran and never knew you can see AND smell blood but it is a smell
no one forgets
While the wound was not directly life threatening there was danger of other things.
I went to 7 Doctors ( these were specialist) over the next 2 days. I was told "Hey you ain't going to die but you may loose you arm."
They couldn't judge the extent of the nerve damage to my arm....so off the rehab.
There was only one felt sensation. Pain. Depending on the "stimulus" to the area affected it could be " my terms " monstrous.
The thing I will never forget in my life was when they tested the nerves in my arm. Hey we have to do this to check how conductive
the upper part of the nerves (bicep) are to the lower part. Heat hurt. Cold hurt. To feel the best Fur hurt like the largest grade of sandpaper.
I am telling you no lie.
But they said they had to check the things that make you feel. They laid me on a table and sent DC electricity
down my arm. Not once but several times. I am not a man to talk anything but I screamed in pain. There were tears on my face and all the technician
could say is "I know it hurts but we can finish it now OR we will have to do it again."
Well that was not much of a choice..... More than 10 years later(as some have said) My left arm is always in some 4-6 pain, I only have full feeling
in one finger(bird fucuk you all) all the rest have the feeling they are a sleep and maybe 60% of feeling and dexterity
..
I ain't crying bitchin moaning pissing. It is just MY real world

Thanks for sharing that. Sounds like a nasty experience.

This is 3 or 4 weeks after. The real colour purple bruising is gone the green and yellow are
still noticeable my arm is almost back to normal size. Yeah it was nasty and I found a new path of thought
about many many things. Entrance is on the left and exit on the right. My arm was almost straight up when
the nd happened.

I think you can do a crappy job and make it go pew.
The big question is does it go pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew ?
Or just pew?
I have never done crappy work. Never. I am not someone that can just run out somewhere
where you can play class III. If I were to drop a mag outside there would be cops all over the place
in about 6 minutes.

I didn't mean "you" personally, I don't even know you, I meant "you" in the generic. Also ... one "pew" is a single shot.
A guy at work asked me to look at a AR he built, sometimes it went pew and some times it didn't but it had light strikes on the primers ... he tried couple different brands with all the same results. He had the hammer spring in backwards.
That's the only reason I asked ... sometimes, to the untrained eye everything looks right ... no offense intended.

None taken but I studied for a couple of weeks before I started the assembly and
I had read that about the hammer spring. Anyway if I was going to grab a rifle
it would be my AB2 because the only reason I bought the AR is because I was
bored and it was cheap. PSA complete upper with the lower kit and an Anderson
lower and 4 P mags.
