I have a little bit of time..going to see if I can knock this out real quick. If GN goes down for a little bit..thats why.

It must have worked because when I opened my browser, the Gunsnet window would not open until I changed the address to HTTPS.

regular traffic (HTTP) should be telling the browser to go to the HTTPS link. I've checked this functionality with a few websites on the net and they are forwarding to HTTPS.

As far as the people count, also as a reminder, we moved up versions. The count that was displayed wasnt necessarily updating properly.

Your old bookmark should work but it should also send you to the https link instead. Let me know if it doesn't. Meaning...http:// whatever should forward to https://

I replaced that bookmark already so I can't say if it would work now, but it didn't work since the change.

What is your old link? Thread times are based on your time zone set in your profile.

The fix for http to https was on the 22nd. I tested it thru an independent server and it showed it worked. Dunno.

Seems since another change here we have lost more people again coming here. Not sure but it looks like it.

I think we lost more web crawlers, not visitors. I again, tested http traffic (the old connection) from a friend's house just now. It gets forwarded correctly.
