    When is an AKM not an "AK-47"!

    Found this on Fox News but would expect the same stupidity everywhere.

    When I saw the picture, that old picture of a bunch of firearms all named AK-47, except of course the real AKM, came to mind.


    When is an AK-47 (the Soviets didn't even call it that) not an AK-47? When it's an SKS!!!!!!!!!!!

    Saw that earlier on Fox. A "Norinko" SKS / AK. That must be worth a million $$ to a collector, lol.

    Saw that too as an sks ak47, they are really rare soviet prototypes with only one known to exist

    Nope. Where there's one, there's hundreds. Everyone knows that SKS/AK's reproduce asexually. Simple biology....

    Don't knock the old Tapco catalogue. My STG-58 is very grateful that at one time Tapco sold directly to those of use who shall not be infringed.

    Tapco had a lot of cool stuff back in the day. That's before they got into molding plastics.
