Is it "Gun Control" if it's not even a gun?

If this is a “compromise” ,as the article implies, and we give up bump stocks, what do we get in return?

"They" have even gone so far as to twist the military advice of firing in semi auto mode for better aiming into "semi-auto is more dangerous than a machine gun".

It's time to stand up and just say NO. I've had it up to my eyeballs with "gun laws" that only infringe on US while the criminals laugh at them.

So with all the info so far it looks like raising the age to 21 for all gun purchases. Tighten up background checks. Ban the bump stocks. That is it for now. Till the next shooting comes about and I'm sure it will.

Sounds good to me. Ban straight semiautos and repeal the NFA and one particular part of the FOPA..... And enact a federal law prohibiting any state restrictions on such......

A bump stock does not turn a rifle into a machine gun. It's still one shot per trigger pull.

Also, you don't even NEED a "bump stock" to bump fire. I've been bump firing for years and I don't own a bump stock.

Lastly, how about we call them "recoil reducers"? That spring takes up a lot of the recoil shock.
