Just got an email notice from Sportsmans, FDE with two 17+2 mags and case for $619. With my rewards cards I'd be at about $540. Got a G19 Gen 3. Should I even bother? Other than the FDE color is it that much "better" or different than my Gen 3?

I think it's a cool gun but no better than anything else on the market. I wouldn't get it at full price unless I was a rich collector, but at your price I might would be tempted.

Yeah, I do kinda like the color. Maybe I'm reading it wrong but unlike the standard G19 this version has the G17 frame? I think I'll stop by the store today and check it out. My G19 fits me fine and to be honest I find the butt of a handgun a bigger factor in concealed carry than the slide.

Yeah, 19 slide/barrel length with 17 grip and capacity. I think they would have been better off flipping that around. Full length slide/ barrel and compact grip
Initial Success or Total Failure
Checked it out. Don't care for the color difference between the frame and the slide. Also don't see anything I like better than my current Gen 3 G19

I know my G19 is a 15 round mag. I am not sure that the price is worth the extra two rounds.
