Personally, I hope that the ATF prosecutes Mallard to the full extent of the law!

She's a Dimocrat. It's okay if they break the law. After all, they're above such petty nuisances as having to follow the law.

She can use the "Hillary Defense" because she didn't "intend" to use it for criminal activities.

Prosecute for what, violating a law that violates the supreme law of the land? If we had the right of the people to keep and bear arms as written, there would not be a problem here. I don't like coming out on the side of anti gunners for any reason, but arresting them for doing what is legal per the Constitution of The United States of America is as wrong as the law they are accused of violating.

The comments underneath that video are priceless.

"Ha you just created a short barrel rifle without securing the proper federal forms. You are now a felon!"

"Well Karen, now you are a felon. You can't own an SBR without the proper paperwork"

"Felons can't run for office. "

"She is a hardcore criminal who is committing federal gun crimes, she belongs in prison, not on our streets."

"atf needs to lock up these criminals"

I agree with you 100% that "gun laws" are inherently unconstitutional and therefore illegal.

On a different note, although I completely understand WHY everyone is griping about the "illegal SBR", It is obvious that the person who made the video had no intention of making a "different rifle configuration", but rather her intent was simply to "destroy it" (nor will anything happen to her - the "Hillary defense" will save her).

All of these nutjobs surrendering or destroying their rifles is sick and sad enough, but to be doing it because of false flag hoaxes makes it even worse.

It's obvious when the left is doing... nobody fell for the "Sandy Hook" hoax and discussions about it tailed off too quickly.

I'm sure the left assumed that the idea of "kids being killed" would be more than enough to tip the scales in their favor.

But, it didn't happen, so they try again... once again a school and "dead kids", but this time they aren't shutting up. They are going to whine and scream and try to keep this latest hoax in the news and sure enough, something will probably happen this time (either more bullshit state bans or, worse, some kind of federal ban).

The left won't be happy until they turn every law abiding gun owner in the USA into a felon.

Obvious intent or not, the ATF should fry her ass. Unknowingly (ignorance of the law is no excuse), she blundered into one of the big no-no's we' gun owners" have had to suffer through for decades. If we have to follow the law, then she should be made to pay for breaking that same law.

Maybe, if the ATF started to do it's job and arrested her, this would send a message to other liberals and non-gun owners, that they should read up on the laws they think don't exist.

It's the intelligent thing to do.....

(p.s. - I agree these laws are unconstitutional, but nevertheless, we have to abide by them or face jail time, so she should, too. Like I said, ignorance is no excuse.....and she's pretty damned ignorant.)

That right there is the biggest problem with lawmaker politicians... they have NO CLUE about "guns" yet they fancy themselves as competent to make gun laws.

It's as absurd as a layman trying to tell a medical doctor how to perform surgery.

Also, most of these politicians are attorneys... if not that at least they are fairly well educated.

It doesn't take too many brain cells to realize that a criminal, by definition, will not obey any "gun law" or "gun ban" and I'm convinced that they know this to be true.

If so, then that means their "laws" and "bans" are NOT intended to make anyone "safer" and they are not intended to reduce crime, but rather the intent is to disarm the law abiding gun owning public.

They know that even the mildest, most law abiding people have their tipping point and they know that their goal of imposing a socialist dictatorship would never be allowed by us.

As long as we are armed, they cannot destroy our Country. That's why they want our guns.

Struck down for HER, not for anyone else.

Honestly, I can't fathom where the idea of a minimum barrel length for a long gun came from. It's so arbitrary. I think it takes some mental derangement to come up with ideas like that....
