    NYC Group wants to arm bodega owners

    NEW YORK (WABC) -- In a proposal certain to cause controversy, a group is pushing an idea to arm bodega owners with guns to help fight would-be robbers.


    The president of Hispanics Across America is leading the program.

    He's also a representative of the Bodegueros Association and says he wants to send a simple message: "If you rob a bodega, you can lose your life in the process."

    Good. Maybe a few asshats having their heads turned into canoes during robberies will curtail some of that shit. You can bet your ass the Bloomberg is going to fight it though. The Republican Party should sue him for putting the "R" after his name.
