    Bought some

Tritium vials they are on the way but I am not sure the front
sight has all the vial out.

Any insight as how to make sure it is clear? Real small drill bit?

Tritium is of course radioactive. I am guessing you have an older set of sights that have worn down to be not visible anymore. Or did the original vial fall out of the sight? How to tell if the hole is empty, yeah a drill bit or even a tooth pick for that matter. Shove it in then measure how deep it goes in against the sight metal.

The vials were worn out when I bought the rifle. I pushed out the rear sights with
a paper clip. The front sight I think had fallen out but the front sight seems .030
    to shallow.

Well with all the other crap going on in my life, 1 of the vials was dead and the co. that sold them to me
says naw we don't believe it. Said I did it some how another. I used a plastic card and a Bic pen to tap them in.
