After today, it's all historical.
What I'd like to know is how many useless apps I could delete off this phone without compromising my ability to get on the net. I have an AT&T go phone, monthly plan, and has Android version 7.1.1
I don't need apps like Uber, Gmail, direct TV, etc.

I thought you had to add them. But I will not have a "______" phone. All
I need is call you, get call and the occasional text.
While no one ever listens to me,
I am constantly being told to be quiet.

Yeah, this is the only como I have. Being retired with limited income, I like having the ability to skip a month if finances so dictate. For $35 a month I have a phone and a computer in one low payment. I can text, talk to the VA, tread Gunsnet and take picture with one device. A bargain.
ETA: Besides all that, it doubles as a flashlight, a pocket watch, a memo pad, a compact encyclopedia, et cetera.....

This is one of the reasons I like my old LG flip-phone. I don't even have a "texting" program on it with the carrier.
