Per the American Rifleman magazine I just received, there is a recall of Sub 2000 carbines. Recent models are having barrels blow up or something like that. If you own one be safe and check it out.
I believe Kel-tec has very innovative designs but their quality control sucks big time. I had a P-11 once that would fire up to 6 shots before the assembly pin "walked" out. That was it for me with respect to Kel-tec. I fired a friends Sub 2000 and it was a fun to shoot gun but the reliability was questionable. On the other hand I have shot thousands of rounds from a 9mm Hi-point carbine using all kinds of cheap ammo and almost zero cleaning and the reliability was 100%.
