I have heard a little bit about this on the local radio stations and it does not surprise me. I mean, Seattle just imposed a $275 a job tax on businesses. They are a reason I am thinking of retiring to somewhere other than Washington.

Wasn’t that a $275/year tax per employee for any business that employs more than 50 people? It was targeted at Amazon and the reasoning was that Amazon could afford it. (Typical leftist reasoning...)

Luckily I don't live in Seattle, but I live close enough that I listen to Seattle radio stations when I am driving. Unfortunately, Seattle, with the help of Tacoma and Olympia, drives the policies for the rest of the state.
