Exclamation Giuliani threatens to go to court if Mueller subpoenas Trump

Rudy Giuliani on Saturday threatened to take special counsel Robert Mueller to court if he attempts to issue a subpoena against President Trump.

"If Mueller tries to subpoena us, we're going to court," Giuliani said in an interview with ABC News. Giuliani, a former New York City mayor, joined Trump's legal team in April.

Giuliani’s warning arrived just hours after The New York Times revealed that Trump's lawyers sent Mueller a 20-page letter in January arguing that Trump couldn’t obstruct justice because he has unfettered authority over all federal investigations.

The confidential letter obtained by the Times argues that the Constitution gives the president the broad authority to, "if he wished, terminate the inquiry, or even exercise his power to pardon."

Looks like this saga is coming to a head... either Trump will testify of his own free will, or he will be subpoenaed by Mueller and forced to testify.

Mueller already knows the answers to the questions he wants to ask Trump. All he's needs to do at this point is catch Trump in a lie.

Will Giuliani be able to figure out a way to prevent Trump from having to testify? Or is Trump going to have to order Rosenstein to fire Mueller after all? And shitcan Rosenstein as well if he refuses to follow orders?

What he needs to do is to order mulie to investigate uranium one, the clinton foundation, pizzagate, clinton top secret emailgate, weinerlaptopgate, dncserverpakistanispiesgate, sethrichgate, $500k to bill clinton from the russiansgate, 0bamaputincollusiongate, then America will see where the Russian collusion is.

Mueller cannot force Trump to testify. He has no constitutional authority to do so, especially when his whole "investigation" is unconstitutional in the first place. There is no law Mueller can use to back up his subpoena, if he decides to go after him.

This whole thing is a total scam put together by Leftists/Communists/Dimocrats. They are outside the law (and proud of it).

Giuliani needs to give Mueller 5 days to show what evidence he has, or end this sham of an "investigation." No extensions at all.

I don't know about that. Even Trey Gowdy was able to subpoena Hillary and force her to testify (re: Benghazi hearings).

And she didn't weasel out and take the Fifth either... she answered every question they asked of her.

Mueller was not appointed by the President. He was given the "job" by a subordinate of the President. Therefore, he was "hired" by someone with lesser authority than the President. And, Hitlary was NOT the President. And, don't forget that Mueller is operating outside the Constitution. He really has no authority over anything.

You forget that Hitlary lied about everything when she testified.
