Now, to celebrate this day, it is customary to build a bonfire at dusk and drink, and dance, do whatever comes naturally (clothes optional).

We've gotta make this a national holiday because it can't be celebrated properly if everyone has to work.
It takes time to buy the beer, ice down the chest, get a good bonfire going and cook some beef, deer, or moose steaks, not to even mention getting all the scantily clad women to attend. All that definitely requires a full day to accomplish.
It boggles the mind how this day can go by totally unnoticed.
