Any members in Lexington Virginia? Don't patronize this restaurant!

Again, NOT in California. This is in Virginia!!!!

To any of our members in Virginia. Don't eat at this establishment!

    https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/rest...170335133.html

Sarah Sanders had a hard time getting dinner in the D.C. area on Friday. She and her family were asked to leave the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va.

Jaike Foley-Schultz, who says he is a waiter at the Red Hen, shared a post on Facebook that said his boss kicked out the press secretary and her party.

The post went viral when the director of Clean Virginia, a left-leaning energy nonprofit, shared the post on Twitter, along with a handwritten note, purportedly from the restaurant, with the note: “86 — Sara Huckabee Sanders.”

The term “86” is restaurant shorthand for cutting people off, asking them to leave, or throwing them out.

Sanders confirmed that she was asked to leave in a tweet this morning.

“Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for [President Trump] and I politely left,” Sanders tweeted.

Well, I suppose if a Christian baker doesn't have to bake a cake, then I guess this restaurant owner doesn't have to serve people he doesn't approve of either.

    Goose... gander.

A cozy, little safe place in a town of liberals.

BTW, LAGC, it's owned by a woman, not a he. In just reading an article on it, the owner wasn't present when they came in. The chef called the owner, and by the time she got there, the staff had already taken their orders and preparing their food. The owner convictions were so strong, she had to poll the staff as to what they wanted done.

Sounds more like mob (democracy) rule than moral convictions.

    Spineless twats all.

Also, the Christian Baker never said that he would not SERVE or SELL a gay couple anything in their store. The limit was a request for them to provide special SERVICES for a wedding, which included creating custom cakes. Not the same thing as KICKING someone out of a place after they've already ordered their food and are getting it.

But then LAGC has problems with normal thinking.

    UPDATE:

The restaurant removed their account at a website for reviewing restaurants in the area. I've heard that the review sites also are not allowing any MORE negative reviews regarding this restaurant.

Also their phone is now disconnect or you can't leave a message on their voicemail any more.....

Something isn't right with that article. Lexington, VA is 30 miles north of me on I-81 which is no where close to the "D.C. area". I doubt Sanders and her family drove 190 miles one way for dinner.

Happened again in FLORIDA to Pam Bondi, REPUBLICAN state A.G.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/florida-a...215734667.html

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Protesters confronted Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi at a showing of a documentary about children's TV host Fred Rogers, and they questioned the Republican's stands on immigration and health care.

The Tampa Bay Times reports Bondi received a police escort Friday when several members of Organize Florida confronted her as she left a Tampa theater after seeing "Won't You Be My Neighbor" about Mr. Rogers. The demonstrators questioned Florida joining a lawsuit against the Affordable Care Act and Bondi's general support of President Donald Trump's immigration policies.

This is at least the third time a Republican official has been confronted at a public place in recent days over the president's immigration policy that separated parents entering the country illegally at the Mexican border from their children. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Trump spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders left restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area after facing friction there.

Bondi protester Maria Jose Chapa said was an impromptu demonstration after someone spotted the attorney general, who has a national following as a contributor on Fox News and as a friend of Trump. Video shows that as Bondi and her companion left the theater surrounded by officers, Chapa followed her yelling.

"What would Mr. Rogers think about you and your legacy in Florida? Taking away health insurance from people with pre-existing conditions, Pam Bondi!" Chapa hollered. Another person shouted at Bondi, "You're a horrible person!" Onlookers stared agape as the procession moved past.

So, the restaurant owners's religious convictons prevented them from serving Republicans/Conservatives?

What kind of religion are they practicing?

    Oh, that's right, Liberalism.

And obama and Hitlary are their prophets and Soros is their patron saint?

Maybe. I'm sure it's just a mistake by whom ever wrote the article, just noticed the reference to Lexington being in the D.C. Area which its not. Perhaps the restaurant isn't the correct one either?

    Nope, it was Lexington.

While I think it was a shit thing to do I don't have a problem with the restaurant owner asking them to leave. It's their business they can do what they want just like they have to deal with any negative consequences.

If we're being honest, how many of you would be saying the same thing if this had happened to Obama or someone from his administration?

You can trace all of this "activism" back to Obama, the deep state that has been installed over the years and the useful idiots that need to feel like they belong to something because they can't accomplish anything on their own. It was described best by Charles Krauthammer, may God rest his soul.

    By Charles Krauthammer

I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called "Organizing for Action" (OFA).
OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current president’s administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?

If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America!

Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to Organizing for Action.

OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump Administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.

OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.

OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows: "Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines. Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond."

OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA.

Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, “The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House."

Sperry writes that, “The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC.

Think about how this works.. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests.

If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.

If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.

So, do your part. You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against. We are losing our country and we are so compliant. We are becoming a "PERFECT TARGET" for our enemy!

Whereas it may seem like all of these cases are more or less the same based on common sense, in reality they are mostly different and involve multiple nuances concerning different laws and the establishment by Federal, State, and local governments of multiple protected classes.

If a lib asked me to leave their restaurant I would gladly comply. Firstly it prevents ingesting something put in my food. Secondly I don't want to spend money at an establishment run or owned by a liberal. These liberal restaurant owners should just post a sign on the door as a heads up for conservatives. Something like "I suck liberal dick" would work.

Oh, I'm all for the rights of businesses to refuse service to anyone they choose. But if it's a shitty reason then they have the right to SUFFER the backlash and consequences.

Surprisingly, that was reported on the news last night.
It also shows how "tolerant" the lefties are when it comes to the "other side".
