Got my very first Luger yesterday and started this thread.

I know Krupski has a P08. Just wondering how many members have a Luger?
As noted in the other thread. This is one of the ones Interarms had Mauser make for them in the early 1970's. Mine is the 163rd pistol made in 1971. It's chambered in .30 Luger with 6" barrel. It's looks unfired. Pistol with one, correct/original mag was $700 out the door.
As I understand it these didn't sell that well even though the quality is superb so Interams had Mauser change production to the standard P08 style frame with 4" barrel chambered in 9x19. Those apparently sold better.
If I read correctly Mauser made 5,000 in .30 Luger in the Swiss pattern (both 4" and 6") like mine and 10,000 in the more desirable P08 version. May not be correct on this as I'm still researching so if anyone has more facts please post them.
Haven't shot it yet but I sure do like the looks and I've always wanted a Luger.
