    sorry if a repost
"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"

A huge technological breakthrough, but quickly superseded by the jet age. It did it's part to end WWII though. I always found it interesting that the USSR reverse-engineered ones they "captured" (US planes that landed in Soviet territory in distress).

She served in Korea, as the renamed B-50. As did the P.51, and F4U Corsair, and maybe the Jug also. The B-36 was to be the last Prop. Plane. except for the Skyraider in Vietnam.
