    Thanks Steven. Was having dinner with Jim Land years ago and asked him about Hathcocks rifle of choice. He stated that while it wasn't the most accurate of rifles it was extremely consistent. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense. A rifle that will put 3 shots into a single hole but that hole is in a different spot every time you shoot it isn't as good as a rifle that shoots a 2" group to the same point of aim every time.

    No such thing (in my experiences) as a rifle that shoots 3 shots into one hole, then the next time you take it out it shoots off by a foot.

    Don't take it literally, it wasn't meant that way. Just trying to make a point, surely you could figure that out? What I'm saying is a consistent rifle is better than an inconsistent rifle even if the "accuracy" of the former is less than the later.
