Gun owners are to the Republican Party as Blacks are to the Democrat Party. We vote Republican, provide the votes that win close elections, get Jack Shit in return (with respect to 2nd Amendment rights), and keep voting Republican.
There's a bigger concern right now than trying to PUNISH RINOs. The crazy LEFT 'might' take back the House and then we're fucked. Non stop impeachment proceedings and political kangaroo courts in the House for YEARS. This is probably the WORST TIME to try to try a litmus test on Republicans, when the crazy Democrats are within striking distance. The issue is that they're too chicken to try it now. I'd prefer to pressure them on a seat by seat basis when the lunatics aren't so close to seizing power. I would agree to some extent with your point, but to me what you call RINOs are in reality the mainstream Republican party.
Now seems a good time to me to put pressure on the Republican party. I have to frequently travel into MD so the failure to bring the concealed carry reciprocity legislation out of committee may get me killed which is one reason I don't feel a since of restraint with respect to putting pressure on Republicans.

The left is really triggered right now, more than I've ever seen. They are just champing at the bit to get in there to vote and make a referendum against Trump.

The Blue Wave is a MYTH created by the Communist media to make those who would vote Repub, to stay home and not vote. That's the ONLY way the Communists have a chance of winning anything.
The people who voted for Trump won't let him down. They know what the Left is trying to do and they know they are the only thing preventing it from happening.
Most of the "new" dimocrats running for office are showing themselves to be outright Communists, raising all kinds of Communist/Socialist platforms that are, inherently, insane.
