They are a doomed people. The land grab started a few days ago and the Whites were thrown off the productive lands they had been farming for generations.
The Communist government (ANC) has already started its genocide movement against the Whites.
South Africa will become the next Zimbabwe. A country led down the path to destitution and poverty by the ANC.
Australia and Russia has offered to take the Whites into their own countries.
Of course, our media is silent on all this. To report on any of this would go against their Communist brothers; and they would never do that.

I think,with the food shortages they have, it would take an ounce of gold at least. I'd sure as hell not sell 6 months of food for an ounce of silver, Ino matter what the inflation rate is.

This article is from a year ago. It has only gotten worse since then. For the liberal flagship paper, NY Times, to print such an article would lead me to think it is even worse than they admit. The article ended by saying that 93% of the people couldn't afford food...and that was a year ago.

Good article N/A. And you are probably right as it isn't very likely that the NYT would admit that socialis/statism doesn't work. They would be more likely to choke on the words.
