    Boyds oiled M1A stock?

I bought one of these and it is real nice. Anyway I am wondering what i need to do to it? I assembled the rifle and it all fit together perfectly. So all I am concerned about is preserving the wood. Should I just put a number of coats of tung oil on it? What about lemon oil? It is pictured in the middle. The stock is slightly lighter then my M1 Carbine. What do you guys think?

I like boiled linseed oil for Garand and M14 stocks.

Tung Oil is better, it doesn't darken with age and will not mildew like Boiled Linseed oil. Just use some 0000 grade steel wool to kill the shine on it.
