WAY too long for the typical 30-second time-slot aimed at low-information voters.
Remember: most informed voters have already made up their minds who to vote for. They won't be swayed by any fancy ads.
It's the low-information voters that campaign ads are trying to target. Those who don't really care much about politics. So the ads need to be short and concise to account for their short attention spans.
