WV. 47. Not a good State for home invasions.
Given that Hawaii has some of the strictest gun control laws I am surprised at the rate of ownership. I would have expected a lot less.

AZ is at #26. I'm willing to bet the gun ownership % is much higher. Our gun laws protect our right to sell private property without federal infringement. I know several folks who have owned guns all their lives and never bought one "on the books"
MN 34th lowest, Weird how they numbered them, shouldn't they have the numbers flipped around? Not bad for a libtard state.
You DO realize that this info shows:
What is a "National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record"?Here is a look at per capita weapons data, based on the ATF’s National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record, and 2013 data from the U.S. Census.
There is no "registration" in most states, and even in communist New York only pistols are "on record" (but not long guns - aside from the idiots that registered some rifles under the "SAFE" Act), so these published numbers are meaningless.

I don’t believe where Maine is listed. MAYBE everything in and around of Portland and all south, but that is a very small part of the state. The rest, everybody has at least 3 rifles in their homes.
I see rifles and sometimes pistols in almost every home I go into, and I go in to a different persons house every day.
