For the past 8 years I lived in Northern central Cali and the fires were horrendous. Every year, smoke just chokes you out month after month.
I saw first hand how logging should have been implemented and people are fighting PG and E for starting the fires or for wanting to cut down trees on their property to help lower the fire risk.
To Hell with California, the land was beautiful before the liberals took over, now its a dump filled with idiots and cuckold rhinos.
    Good riddance.

The rain brings the risk of landslides since the ground has been cooked of vegetation.

PLUS, the ashes from the fires contains a "smorgasbord" of toxic chemicals, everything from herbicides, pesticides, synthetic rubber, assorted plastics, human and animal remains, paints, fabrics, etc., that will now wash down into various waterways.
Cities downstream are going to have a terrible time cleaning the water before putting it in their local pipes.
