    Mix-matched Russian SKS

I picked this Russian Tula up at a local gun shop almost four years ago, what caught my eye was it was dressed in a force-matched Izhevsk stock! Other than the stock all the other parts are matching and it's the best shooter of all the SKS carbines I have had. The magazine isn't original, the previous owner had lost it according to the gun shop owner. The serial number stamped on the rear of the receiver cover is a matching style & size font as that on the receiver so I'm certain the carbine is indeed a '53 Tula.

Nice score. I too, have a '53 Tula I picked up about 10 years ago. It's in great shape and is a nice shooter.
