They keep trying this and thankfully it never passes out of committee.

Fortunately the Hated By The Media president seems to be very pro-second amendment and would most likely veto something like this if it managed to make it through the coming democrat congress and republican senate. In fact if it did make it through the full congress, I wonder if firearm owners would do a "Yellow Jacket" against it? Doubt it until they realize they would be breaking the law when they lone a firearm to their spouse and then it is returned after a range visit.
