Thumbs up High Standard made rifles?

    Didn't know HS made rifles.

No idea what "Swedish" action they used but as far as caliber and over all looks I really like this rifle!

Anyone know anything about this model in particular and or High standard rifle production in general? The pistol grip seems a little different from what I'm used to and I wish there were more and better photos. The rear sight kinda looks like it might have folding leafs but I can't tell. Kind of a classic look to it. Wonder if the action is Hasqvarna?

High Standard didn't make the rifle. It's a Husqvarna Mauser made between 1962-1965. High-Standard was the importer during that time.

    After today, it's all historical.

    Thumbs up

Thanks Steven. I wondered if perhaps they assembled or imported them. The auction I linked to isn't local so I won't be bidding but I will be keeping an eye out locally for these rifles in the future.
