Just measured a bit over 4 inches and still snowing heavily. By looking at radar we might double that before it's over. Bah humbug!

Weather Underground has us at about 2 1/2 but the way it's blowing it all seems to piling up behind my garage door
Figures, I knew I shouldn't have said anything earlier about how mild it's been

We got 5" of heavy wet stuff yesterday. It's already melting.

So far, this winter has very very dry. I suppose this means we are in an El Nino pattern.

About 3 inches of snow courtesy of globular warmins, el nine-oh, and Al Gore.

Hope they get that cleaned up by Monday morning, I'll be down there at 6:30 am at Sun King Brewery delivering 50k of grain.

Prescott Valley was hit with 5 - 6" of snow on New Years, and then another 3" this morning. High today was 43, low tonight will run 29. Some rain might hit us on Tuesday, then quite a bit of sun and temps in the 50's for awhile.

Final total in my area is 6.5 inches.

Have to give credit to our state and local plow and road crews, they really did a great job. The big problems came when night came, temps dropped to single digits and what was wet became black ice (yes, the ice is very racial). Almost impossible to keep up with that.

Tonight they are forecasting freezing fog! That should make morning drives fun!

It was in the 40's and even low 50's this time last week. Now we have about 4" of snow on the ground and a high of 27 today.

Don't know about your area but they say we are going to get hammered this weekend with a big winter storm. Maybe 8-10" of the white stuff.

We got some snow Sunday and again Sunday night. Schools were closed Monday.

According to the weather man, it's supposed to warm up into the 60's Sunday, with rain, then a flash freeze is supposed to drop the temps to around 7* Sunday night. If the rain doesn't evaporate, we're, probably, looking at an ice storm Monday morning.
It's been in the 30's all day here.

The beauty of Winter in Indiana, it might take a while to get here, but when it does...!!!!

This past Saturday we got 6.5 inches of snow. Today we got a dusting. Last night we also had freezing fog. They are saying a "wintery mix" tomorrow into Thursday. Then Saturday into Sunday more accumulating snow. Temps balance the start of the year being global warming with the next week or so being the new ice age.

I keep telling everyone, I will never complain about the heat in the summer. In the summer I can lay on the back porch with a beer in hand and the radio blasting. Don't try that with the temp of 20 degrees/ wind chill below zero. Also in the summer I don't have to worry about some driver sliding on ice and running into me. Of course in the summer there are some really wonderful drivers that don't need ice or snow to lose control of their vehicle!

I'm not looking forward to that
I've got to knock down some of the piles I created to make room for the new stuff
The piles eventually get to high to throw over

It has been very wet and in the low 40's, so on the cold side for Atlanta GA area. 2nd wettest year on record was 2018 for GA. Low 40's to mid 50's to near 70 at times in the last 3 weeks. This weekend it will start in the 60's but end at 19 give or take a degree. Kind of all over the place so far, but thankfully, no snow.

And this evening they updated the temps this weekend to a high of 10F and a low of minus 10!!! And if that wasn't bad enough, they are again predicting the major snow storm path to go right through central Indiana.

With Washington semi-shut down there is not enough hot air to offset all this cold! It must be Bush's fault!!!
