Lord Robert, are you from Sealand or do you just have visions of grandeur!?!

Actually, Sealand has an interesting history. I had to look it up because I thought it was a British comedy sketch, but it is real! Too funny!

My only claim to fame is that my ancestor was a governor of VA (during colonial times) and signed the Declaration of Independence.

The British bankrupted him for his treason against the Crown and we've been poor ever since.

    Damned British scum....

When I was a lad, all my elders usually addressed me as "Lawd-a-mercy boy,..."

I'm related to the Byrds, including, sadly, senator Robert Byrd. Also, I'm related to Bob Lilly of the Dallas Doomsday Defense by marriage.

Apparently in old English my name means “brave ruler”. Ruler of what I have no idea. That’s about as close to nobility as I’m likely to get unless there’s a branch on the old family tree I haven’t found.

No nobility but related to Jefferson Davis, and if 0bama is related to the same Davis clan I am then we're related too. Neat huh. I know you guys are jealous of not possibly being related to 0bama.....

Didn't they teach spelling or grammar in Noble School?

It should be "...the proper manner", not "manor". <-- clicky it

With that said, I beg Your Lordship to forgive my insolence.
