Probably been 5+ years since I have found a pre 65 silver coin. Then again, I have taken the mark of the beast and deal 99.9% of the time in using a card for my purchases. I can go many months without dealing in cash and getting coin change.

Talk about blast from the past! Welcome back to Gunsnet Hootbro! A shadow of the site it once was, but it is still alive.
Wow another one arisen.
World renowned precious metals expert Andrew Maguire says pay attention to the new rule that goes into effect at the end of March that will allow gold to become fully valued and monetized as a tier 1 asset for banks around the world. Maguire explains, “Basel III is coming into effect in less than two weeks from now, and it will effectively remonetize physical gold. Of course, that is a big deal. While the synthetic players shuffle chips in this siloed CME casino, the insider bullion banks are positioning for higher gold prices. That is it right there. Bottom line is what are the big boys doing?”

Russia Buys 1 Million Ounces Of Gold In February – Become Your Own Central Bank
Yesterday was the 20th of the month and you know what that means. New gold data from the Central Bank of Russia! They bought 31.1 tons in February, bringing total to 2,149 tons. Washington is finally noticing; part of the reason I was there Wednesday. This is the new Great Game.

"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"
One of the best vids on silver I've seen;
"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"
Great vid.
The other day I ordered a few rounds, and for the heck of it, a few copper bars.
I got a strange penny in change today. On the back side, above the memorial, where it says USofA, the "States of Ame" and "E Pluribus Unum" are missing. It doesn't appear that they were removed in any way, just didn't get imprinted on the coin. That means nothing tho, as I'm not a coin expert. The edge of the rim goes all the way around, if that meams anything.
On the front side, the last number of the date is really hard to see. Had to use a bright light and finally made it out as a faint #8. The date is 1978. The "7" wasn't too strong either.
I'm guessing it came from some grandparent's collection, as I can't see it being in circulation for the last 41 years

Did an online search; it results from a "grease filled die", or partially filled I guess. Anyway, not worth enough to bother with except to keep with the rest of the pennies.

Instead of copper "rounds" or bullion, I have a partial coil of copper pipe (leftovers) that I can easily cut into pieces for trading (if necessary).
Considering the way prices are bouncing around, I have enough silver.

Precious metals are normally sold in Troy ounces (ozt). A Troy ounce is 31.2 grams while a avoirdupois ounce is 28.35 grams. To make things more confusing, a troy pound is 12 Troy ounces.

I hate deleting them and yeah I try to save them, but who remembers where you saved them on your computer and how to access them in a good manner except the NSA
