    Everyone has the right to self defense, no matter their economic status. I had a Hi Point JCP thrown in as a sweetener on a deal once. I have to admit I sold it partly because I didn't want to endure the ridicule. I shot it first though and it ate the Winchester white box flawlessly. If that was what I could afford I would certainly feel much better with it than without.

    Hi-Point firearms are built to function...and they do. I have 3 of their carbines, two 9's and a .45. All run without a hitch. A pleasure to shoot.

    I have an old 9mm carbine (995) and new 10mm carbine (1095) and I like them both. The 10mm has a nice little thump when fired. A detail strip of these guns is to me complex, but more or less not needed.
