My daughter graduated high school this past Sunday

Damn I feel old. Just yesterday she was a baby. Now my princess is 18, has a boyfriend and will be starting college this fall. Damn. I'm old.

I felt old when my daughter graduated high school, and then college, and then grad school. Feeling really old when I hear people call my daughter "Doctor"!!!

Now you have college in front of you. Wait until you go to that graduation!

Crap, you're not old. I have grand kids who are college aged now.

    Congrats!

I've already been to my oldest son's college graduation... and when my younger son gets off his ass and finishes college, I'll be going to another one.

BTW... I'm not supposed to tell anyone (in our family) yet, but I can say it here... my oldest son's wife has a baby in the works, so in about 7 months I'm going to be a grampa!

You say your daughter is a doctor... is she an M.D. doctor or a PhD doctor?

Thanks... although she did all the work... she is also on the honor roll. She really grew up and got her head screwed on straight. First year of HS was a big joke to her... and she also got caught shoplifting (and got "sentenced" to community service). After that she did a complete 180 and got serious about herself and her future.

That's cool. It seems like just yesterday I was graduating, and now my son is 23 and buying a home. Time sure does fly .

Daughter started both MD and PhD but decided she couldn't stand dealing with people so just went with the PhD. MD would have been neurology, PhD is Neuroscience.

She worked originally on general diseases of the brain for the MD and the PhD study was Alzheimer research. Nice thing is she took enough MD stuff to help her daddy as he gets old. Scary thing is she knows enough about the brain that I don't know if she is analyzing me when we talk.
