From what I have read from other articles this "law" only pertains to having a forward pistol grip in the pistol. It doesn't make an AR pistol with a brace an AOW, the forward grip makes it an AOW.

The person writing this article is mis-repersenting this OLD law. The ATF is mearly issuing a reminder that you can't have a forward grip on your pistol because then your pistol is no longer a one handed gun.

This "law" actualy has nothing to do with the arm braces.
