I seriously doubt any president was racially pure in speech. The beauty of the recording is that we can now hear that our presidents, once thought of as above that, were very human and had a good and bad side to them.
With the Reagan sound bites, how out of context are they, and did he really think that or was it just for Nixon who seemed to hate everyone but himself.
