The Death Penalty Would Have Prevented This

It's well past time to re-institute the death penalty. This wouldn't have happened if, instead of giving this cretin a life sentence, then releasing him, he had been sentenced to the death penalty.

    On a side note:
If prisons are overcrowded, as many bleeding heart libturds claim, then execute the top 10% of criminals who committed the worst crimes instead of releasing back into society, the bottom 10%.

Perhaps we can get them to release criminals, foreign and domestic, into the larger cities to be near their friends the liberals? As long as they stay there I am fine with it. Many large cities have had "sound barrier" walls installed on the highways encircling the city, these can greatly help in filtration of those allowed outside.

My idea of taking care of repeated violent criminals is put them on a deserted Island, one of the test sites of atomic weapons would be a good thing. Then airdrop them small arms and ammo, and enough food for a couple of them for 2 weeks. Rules are if they make it off the island, they get a pardon. Pre set up cameras all over the island and a devoted channel on ALL types of TV, internet, cable, satellite ect (PAY channel that goes to reducing the national debt). I would love to watch violent animals trying to survive on a couple weeks worth of food for two of them.

Prisons (jokingly called "correctional facilities") do not help or "correct" anyone. All they do is train non-violent offenders to be hardened criminals and give hardened criminals free room, board and medical care.

Punishment should be "an eye for an eye". A person kills, they die (in the same manner as their victim if possible). A thief should repay what they stole. A mugger should be beaten in a like manner. For less well defined crimes, X number of lashes would do (think "Starship Troopers").

Prison only makes things worse. There should be no "life sentence" or "death row". A crime heinous enough to earn these penalties should result in immediate execution. Period.
