I have a bad feeling about our economy. I think people in high places are trying to wreck it. Of course I could be wrong.

It's on the Left's agenda. They want the economy to tank so they can blame it on Trump. They're doing their best to destroy Trump and they're willing to sink us all if they have to.

After all, we're just deplorable and deserve it anyway (Just ask Hitlary.)

It depends on how bad the news media wants to make it. Aiding the democrats will give them tons of bleeding news stories.

The higher the dow the more the day to day fluctuations can vary without doing any real damage. Again, those who put money into the wall st casino will lose the most, wether to be regained later or lost forever. My parents lost half of their investments in 2008, for example, but left what they still had in and recovered to a degree but not completely. That being said, if the fed and the rest of the central banks continue to withdraw liquidity to the tune of 100B per month or whatever huge sum it was, that will eventually dry up the cash sloshing around the world we the people borrowed from the fed to cover the feds aka too big to fail banks and car makers losses in 2008. What do you suppose will happen when no one has any money, and it can only be borrowed at 30 percent interest?

When it happens again, it'll be 1000 times worse as the lesson of 2008 went unlearned, personal and corporate debt is several times higher today than what the US held in 2008. It won't be 10 Lehman Brothers going under, it'll be thousands.

Also with the advent of negative rates, you will be charged to keep your money in the bank, and for every transaction, and if they can eliminate cash, they not only will be charging you to hold your cash as well as for every transaction, they will have absolute control over your life. And along with negative rates goes bailins, where instead of going to fdic or congress to get emergency cash to fund whatever bank or business lost your money at the casino, they will take your deposits and leave you with an iou or stock in a failed bank.

Negative Rates Are Coming for Your Savings
(Bloomberg Opinion) -- First they came for central banks, then they came for government bonds, then they came for rich depositors. Then they came for me.
Negative interest rates are coming for us all, in one form or another, as central banks redouble their efforts to avert a global economic slowdown that threatens to unleash deflation. So how can we defend ourselves from the coming assault on our bank balances?

The biggest drag on the market now is this "back & forth" with China. Too many wussies to "tough it out" and put the ChiComs in their place.

Replace "economy" with "country" and I think you'd be spot on.

China has been raping us for decades, just like mehico and most other countries.
Free trade only benefits globalist billionaires and marxist regimes.
Free trade is the fatal disease of every western nation, how can a guy in America making 14 an hour compete with a guy making the same stove in China for 50 cents an hour?
And now you understand why the nwo loves free trade.

Also, once upon a time, the entire fedgov was financed by foreign countries via tariffs. That is how it should be.

Trump is starting to put the squeeze on the nwo globalist trillionaires so the globalists are going to try to make us hurt, and blame Trump and conservatives for it all when they planned to drive us into poverty and steal everything we have from the start.
