.....where have they all gone?
Gibby, Moe Brown, Swampy, LAGC, Hondo, Ferd, Maser, the Creamed corn and the Purple Shotgun. Seemed like much better and interesting times. And I might add I really miss Old Grumps humor.

I know Old Grump passed. Maser was banned. Don't know about all the rest haven't seen Raxar or Bishop post in awhile. I really missed the old days here 2002 or so. All the discussions AK receivers. Jeoken was a vendor . $89 kits. Seems like it gone forever. Not just here but on other boards too. But yes LAGC was good for a few laughs.

Yes, I read on another forum that Gibby passed some time ago.
Didn't swamp go off the reservation and get banned.
I still see Bishop post on here.
Ferd, no idea.

No enemy of America would have ever been killed if they didn't show up to be killed. HDR
Gibby and Old grump are dead. I am not as far as I know. Swamp dragon was banned. I'm still in contact with a couple of the other old timers from the glory days.
And I still remember Hondo had rusty shit guns for sale. And Bluedog went insane. There hasn't been a post in the Roadhouse in years.

This site has changed over the years. All the info we use to have is gone.

I think what also helped sustain the "old" Gunsnet was in the early 2000s you were still able to find AKs that were hated by Bush the First for reasonable prices and the SAR series was being imported and was a hot topic many times.
Yep Old Grump died. Swamp Dragon got banned after he ran off quite a few good members. I had banned LAGC for 2 years but he came back when his ban expired. If he stopped coming since then I am unaware as I hardly ever come here. Nobody posts anything about weapons, frankly there isn't much to say. No inexpensive Military Surplus anymore. AK's cost more than entry level AR15 rifles and anything more exotic seems to cost $2,000 bucks. Ammo is to expensive to shoot it other than .22 LR. Glad I have what I have.
If I remember correctly, you and Crapshoot had an ongoing war with each other. Not sure I'd miss that....
Don't forget Dorgunner (Sp?). He was a good guy. Didn't he die of a heart condition, or something like that? I remember he ended up in a hospital and his brother told us of his passing.

I'm coming up on 18 years with you guys. I miss the old crew.
At the end of the day, we're still here. Lets just try to recruit more great members. This is a great site.
Old Grump found me on MySpace many years ago and put me in touch with with this forum as well as a couple of others. We traded emails and swapped pictures of our homes, guns, and locations over the few years I knew him.
I miss his humor, insight, and the way he could handle some idiot. I don't know if his "Trucker Brother" is still around or if posts here on occasion, but OG did talk about him from time to time.
This one's for you OG.
