    My wife has a Glock42 and we found it needs ammo with 185ft/lbs muzzle energy to function reliably. Anything less like the PMC loads are hit and miss. We used the PMC for her training so she would learn how to clear jams until it was gone, but won’t buy it again. Now we use a mix of Hornaday Critical Defense and Underwood Xtreme Defender.

    Edited to add:
    I wouldn’t recommend the little .380 for anything but close defense since it does not really provide an enjoyable time at the range due to recoil and lack of accuracy at distance for beginners.
