Yes, unfortunately "flattening the curve" in order to keep hospitals from being over run by Covid-19 patients has also had the unintended (I hope unintended) side affect of flattening many businesses. Unfortunately many in the medical industry have been hurt by the ban on anything other than Covid-19.

And speaking of vaccines, mandatory or otherwise. How many of you have heard of someone who never seems to have a illness of a particular type, i.e., they are "naturally" immune? Should they be vaccinated against their wishes if they have never had that illness?
I'm asking because, other than some mild colds, the measles, and chicken pox as a kid, I have never had the flu. I have also never had a "flu shot". As a kid, my parents would have us play with neighbor's kids that had single & double mumps so we would get them and be done with them, avoiding the high fevers adults could get causing other health problems. We never got the mumps. We were "naturally" immune. I would be willing to bet that there is at least 20-25% of the population that is also "naturally immune" to the corona virus.
People tell me that I should be worried about COVID because I have 3 "co-morbidities" - age, weight, and blood pressure. I give them a withering look and quote "Ebenezer" - "Bah ! Humbug !"

Most all of my relatives who took flu shots, most are gone now, they would suffer from flulike effects for several weeks after taking said flu shot. I figured why force it to happen by being vaccinated when you can roll the dice and only suffer if you actually catch the flu?
Also, if you take a flu shot, you HAVE the flu, and are contagious for a few weeks to others around you, also applies to things like polio vaccines, etc. Whatever vaccine you take, you have that disease along with adjuvants and other things known and unknown by the vaccine peddler to be in that vaccine. The flu or other virus in a given vaccine may be of the type "killed or live/weakened" in the vaccine, but many people report undesirable effects from them regardless. I always wondered why my relatives took them when they knew they were going to suffer for the next few weeks. Guess they drank the coolaid.

5.56 I asked my dr about this, they haven't used weakened virus flu vaccine in almost 20 years. I have been routinely getting the flu shot the last 10 or so years. One year I didn't get it and got what I believe was the flu. I couldn't get out of bed for 3 days and it took me several weeks to recover. I understand how the elderly or weakened could be killed by it based on how sick I was. I will get the shot every year; Influenza kicked my ass good.
