Yeah. The .357 ballistics surprised me.
I just picked up a Rossi 92 in .38spl/.357Mag and like what I read about it.
Too bad WallyWorld stopped selling pistol ammo. It's not as cheap buying from dealers now. (But, this does help keep gun dealers going, though. A little more revenue coming in.)

A very interesting article indeed !
About 5 years ago, I was finally able to acquire a 20 y.o. Marlin 1894 lever action to go with my GP-100. As I already was reloading for my .380 and .243, it was easy to get another plate holder and die set for .38/.357. The barrel in this 1894 is longer as it isn't a carbine and holds 10 + 1. The reloads I am making are 158 gr. SJHPs and SJFPs over a nearly MAX charge of W296 using mixed fired brass as well as new brass. I have also had to use different primers, Winchester WSPM (Magnum), WSP (Standard for .38 Sp.), CCI 550, and Federal #200 primers.
As I don't have a chrono, I haven't noticed any difference in the loads I have made with only the brass and primers being the variables.
