    It's just the flu Bro.

760 million people under quarantine. That's 1/10 the worlds population.

Also, I agree with the posters here on other threads that it's likely that the Bat Soup theory is Bullshit. NO one who ever caught or prepared bat got sick. I also assume when you boil or cook bat that kills most bugs (but guys here know more than i do). Either way, folks mysteriously got sick AFTER visiting the market. The Bat soup theory was just a theory. Recent news articles have interviews with people from the market and they all said that no one sold or ate Bat meat at that particular market.

There is a confirmed BIO WEAPONS lab right across the street from the fish market where it first cropped up (more NEWS TODAY).

My brother is a doctor. He doesn't seem phased by this illness. He points out the number of people who die each year from the regular flu. Maybe this will wake him up.

760 million is twice the population of the US.

I'm wondering if this isn't an attempt to see just how a deadly virus would spread.

Just for argument's sake, let's assume the Chinese gov't released this virus on purpose. First, they would make sure they have the "cure" shot and inoculate everyone high up in their government (including their families), the military, and select others, and just let everyone else deal with it as best they could.

Remember, ALL Communist governments have periods of mass executions just to get rid of dissidents and extra people. Mao had his and now, Xi might be having his.

Also, this could be a test to see how well other countries can deal with bio-warfare.. If they are too slow, then a major portion of their populations would die, which could be a good thing for the Chinese if they decide to make military moves against other countries. They could be checking to see if this might weaken the US to a point where resistance is lowered to a level they can deal with.

While none of this may be true, it is something worth thinking about.

p.s. If their government and military appear to be largely unaffected by this, then this idea could be closer to the truth than I think....

    Time will tell.

There have been all kinds of crazy things thrown out there on the internet about this. I am not going to jump to believing all of the conspiracy theories but one thing I believe for sure is we are not being to the truth as regards to the entire picture from the government in China and we will probably never know the whole story.

Well, as a truck driver, I haul a lot of stuff. People on my route have told me they are about to run out of Chinese made components like wiring harnesses, circuit boards, connectors etc...
One way or another, this is going to affect everyone.

    Big pharma is shitting itself.
Also, when they get production rolling again to whatever degree, they will be shipping virii.
Whoever it taking shipments from China now and int the future better be on the ball.

With all the shit made in China that people buy daily, I wonder how soon that virus will arrive here via the Big Brown Truck?

    Scary.

From the various reports I've read or seen, the medical "professionals" state that this virus is quickly broken down by both dryness and UV light. It can only exist outside the human body for a few hours. Parcels shipped from anywhere (unless locally) would be too long in transit for the virus to survive.
Worry more about "person to person" contact.

Also, doesn't the US Mail submit international parcels to UV light anyway, just to combat everyday pathogens, before they go into the US?

It has been my understanding that bacteria can go dormant for a long time, like anthrax living in the soil for a hundred years but that viruses don't live long outside of a host

I've read the experts are saying the crap can survive for 28 days or so on a surface.
