My third level has my computer room and bedroom on a concrete slab below ground. As you can imagine, it's wonderful in summer(till the air conditioner is turned on), but freakin freezing in winter. When we had the house built in 1995 we didn't anticipate how could the 3rd and 4th level would get otherwise would've put infloor heat in. I'm getting older and the heat difference between the levels is getting to be too much. Anybody have the heated panels on the ceiling? I'm thinking of putting a 4 foot x 2 foot panel 120V in my computer room, one in the bedroom and one in the den part of the bedroom to supplement the forced heat. Anybody have experience with these panels and/or recommendations? I had a Thermosoft heated underfloor mat in the bathroom, but it never could keep up with the concrete slab and short circuited when we had a drain backup, so not interested in trying any in floor/onfloor heating though it was nice on the feet.
