    Its seems were coming to the realization that you are not an adult in our society until you are 21. No alcohol, no cigarettes, now no firearms. I guess we should raise the voting age back to 21.

    IN 1900 the age of majority was 21. That used to be the case for a long time, until 18 year olds realized that they are treated like adults when it comes to age of consent (in most places), contracts, military draft, enlistment, legal liability, etc. I figure there will be yet another fight, a repeat of one we had in 1970.
