I wouldn't call it a forgotten pistol, it's just that there are so many to choose from these days.

As to the 92 series, I started documenting the different versions that Beretta made and still makes. Beretta likes special editions and up till about two years ago I counted over 100 versions of the 92/M9. My count did not add the USA made vs Italian made, nor the variations of straight and slanted dust cover, and straight vs notched rear strap.

I stopped counting when Langdon and Wilson got involved to make a great pistol even better. Beretta jumped on the variation bandwagon with multiple factory colors available and now an X series using the basic Vertec frame.

What hasn't changed is the amazing accuracy and AK like reliability.
