    Would you expect anything less?

It's hard to get any hard facts in this fiasco. Facebook has sure been full of attacks on the two white fellers.

Goddam vertical video. People have to wise up about that.

That said, this will turn out to be another Baby Tray-tray.

The media is having a field day with it. I'm of the opinion that the neighborhood is better off without the two rednecks as well as the "jogger."

Yeah. No matter who you are, if you go looking for trouble, you can, usually, find it.

    Jogger jogger, twas a robber
Some would say a standard nogger
In khaki shorts and wearing boots
He searches for a house to loot.
Many miles he drifts and roams
    Caught on film inspecting homes.
Spotted now, the jig is up
Cut off now, the way is shut
    Seeing men on truck astride
He casts his hammer to the side
    Enter now our noble heros
Mission to bring crime to zero
Stop right there you criminal scum
Dont make me have to use this gun
Ev'ry thing you stole is forfeit
Chimping out, you best now for-get
He's cornered now and cant turn back
    The arbery villain does attack
    A valiant strugle does occur
A fight for life, a duel astir
Unhand me now and face your crime
Or pay with blood, your life is mine!
A mighty crack, the blow is struck!
The evil brute beast run amok
Is now cast down, his spree is done
No more thieving, no more fun
The tale's not over, not by far
Will justice win or is she marred?
    Another trial, a zimzam 2?
We can hope, so just stay tuned.

I'm sitting this one out. I wouldn't invest TOO MUCH energy into this one.

Those guys were wrong. This is NOT another Trayvon Martin though.

To be 100% fair, so what the guy had a previous criminal record? He wasn't breaking the law when he was jogging. Those guys were NOT cops. They did not identify themselves as cops. Just some random dudes chasing you down with guns? And then cutting you off with their truck? What would YOU THINK?

They shouldn't play cop. They should have called the REAL COPS. This guy wasn't even the guy who did the burglary, though he did look a lot like him. But so what?

Someone comes rushing up to you, are NOT COPS, telling you to stop, you 'might' assume they're just thugs who want to kill you.

I'm NOT on the side of the guys who shot him. I don't think they have 'bad intent' but they were stupid to play 'cop' in the first place. ESPECIALLY since they got the wrong guy.

remember, just imagine of it's YOU walking down the street and guys with guns chase you down, but they're not cops and they don't identify themselves as law enforcement. The last time that happened to ME, guess what, those guys were ROBBERS (and I evaded them by ducking through an alley).

There in lies the great pitfall of vigilante justice.....did you get the right guy?

I must say if two guys in a pick-up pull up on me and start pointing guns, I'm not quietly going with them.
Where are we going and why are we in this handbasket???

Absolutely. Now that guy was NO ANGEL. He had broken into properties before. But at the time, the guys were just looking for a suspect, that had been reported leaving a property thus trespassing. Now Trayvon Martin was a different situation. he attacked Zimmerman and was smashing Zimmerman's head on the ground.

All of these incidents can be avoided by folks calling the cops, and keeping a GOOD DISTANCE away from the suspect. If it's not the guy you're looking for, it can't go south. If the cops do something bad, well, at least it's not YOU getting into trouble for it

i know the circumstances are different, but these 2 guys are going to be tried by the media who will use them to inflame racial tensions again. There are still folks who think ,no believe, that martin was shot without provocation, just like this guy.

gotta admit though, it don't look good for them so far, but i don't trust videos that much anymore; too easy to manipulate and edit

Oh yeah they've already started with his yearbook photo instead of his mugshot, same as Trayvon's pic of when he was 12, he will be a saint by the time the MSM is done. I wouldn't doubt for a moment that he was thievin' or scoping the area out for things to come back and thieve.

Still this is gonna be a lot tougher to claim self-defense when you hunt somebody down and stick a gun in their face....I sure wouldn't wanna be in their shoes. The media is going to crucify them long before any trial starts.

Well, he was on his way to his Doctorate in Law from Duke, a Fellowship at Yale, an Astronomy Degree at Harvard, while working part time at the CDC as a lab technician, working on a cure for cancer, while moonlighting at the Y helping unfortunate kids and putting time in at the Soup Kitchen feeding the homeless, plus teaching a Sunday School class at the Sisters of Lost Causes Nunnery.

It's a shame a guy like that was killed. His death will leave a black hole in the community.

Haven't seen but am hearing that there is a security camera video that shows "the jogger" peaking in open garages.
