I'm not a huge fan of striker fired guns or DA/SA with a decocker (like sig). I shoot competitively and use mostly a 1911 but also a CZ 75 SP01. The CZ gives me the option to shoot single action starting cocked and locked just like the 1911 with the same manual of arms. In fact switching back and forth hasn't been a problem with a little dry fire practice in between. I have seen a number of articles lately that are very anti manual safety. I think you just have to practice and work taking the safety off into your draw. I haven't found it to be a problem.
