    Indy without Indy 500

I have seen dead cities before, but here in Indianapolis during the month of May, there is only one thing, THE 500! It is hard to understand that Sunday is going to be quiet in Speedway Indiana. Going down the streets there are still checkered flags hanging, but not as many. The great track is quiet. So weird! Motels are empty, the great Coke Lot (Coca Cola company) is empty. There are no campers along Georgetown Road.

Hoping the August 23 date allows the half a million people to enjoy the Greatest Spectacle in Racing to enjoy the great race.

Empty Indy in May, really weird!!!

Going to be a lot warm. While the temp might be Phoenix hot, the normal 90 degrees with 90% humidity here is a killer.

115 with 9% humidity any day buddy. I roofed in Houston one summer and it kicked my butt, walked out of the motel room, was soaking wet 5 minutes later and stayed that way all day, hell my feet looked like prunes from walking around in sweat soaked socks
