Barrett A99 bolt action & Thompson semi auto

Freakin out here a bit , they got water damaged , not submerged but the A99 cycles but has rust on the barrel , the Thompson wont cycle but no rust apparent on it , so I can go through it and clean the heck out of it.

The Barrett has me freaking out , should I send it back to Barrett and have them go through and refinish it ?

I need some opinions , get me off the ledge guys.

First, how did they get water damaged!?!

I think how much rust determines your actions. If it is just a little, you should be able to take care of it, it is about medium, I would think a competent gun smith could take care of it. If most of the barrel is rusty it might not be bad, but I expect it would be expensive, to have Barrett look at it.

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!
