Not me. Was always registered as Republican and never once voted democrap.

You know, the sad thing is, on this board a democrat could post and would get civil treatment from us, but if we went on a democrat site, it would be shout-over arguing followed by an insta-ban.

Just like conservatives see a democrat bumper sticker and just shake their head, but a democrat would key a car (or smash the windows of a car) with a republican bumper sticker. They seem to be consumed with anger and hatred. Maybe it's that they can't stand what they see in the mirror.

If that were true, then there would be a lot of money to be made in the mirror industry.....

I don't put Republican Bumper stickers on my car any more. I live in a BLUE STATE and every one of my friends had our cars KEYED and windows smashed in the last several election cycles. Now no one cares, everyone VOTES in secret. I don't even see any BIDEN stickers around here either, so it's going to be a weird election year.......

I'm registered as a Dem but rarely vote for them.

Our city and county are completely controlled by the Dems and the Repubs rarely even run a candidate in most elections. The local elections are decided in the primaries, so if you want your vote to count you have to be able to vote in the Dem primaries.

However when the general election comes round I usually vote straight Repub.
Where are we going and why are we in this handbasket???

The funny thing is they say they're anti fascist yet they do everything fascists of old did.

It's called a deliberate falsehood, to mislead those of low intelligence.

Its because of where you are. CENTRAL California is RED STATE. I'm in Nancy Pelosi's General area (close to Silicon Valley). But at least I'm pretty far away from the crazies in Oakland/Berkeley and I'm not that close to Downtown San Francisco. I'm getting a surprising number of 'democrats' who are whispering to me that they're going to vote Trump because the LEFT is insane. I sure hope there are tons more than the few who confided in me.

Do LA and SF tend to treat the rest of CA the way "Shicago" treats the rest of IL-ANNOY?

yes, they see themselves as the only part of the state that matters and are the focus of almost all public policy discussions at the state level. Everyone else is viewed as backwards and expected to follow along blindly with what ever bullshit the metro areas impose on the rest of the state.

I was afraid that would be the answer.

I suspect recent events will encourage conservatives to leave cities while liberals will flock to them as never before.

Good. Much easier to build walls when they're all in localized ares.....

Same with NY. New York would be a solid red state except for New York CITY. All the bleeding heart deranged liberal comucrats live there. And, because of the population density, NYC votes count for more than the rest of the state.

Cuomo thinks that only NYC is important and doesn't give a shit about the rest of the state. I wish NYC would either fall into the ocean or else be made a separate state so WE don't have to suffer for the city and prop them up with our tax $$$.

This is kinda the same thing I saw in 2016 that alerted me to Trump winning when everyone in the agenda media said killary would win by a landslide. No killary signs anywhere in my town, just Trump signs. Same as today, no biden signs, just Trump (and US) flags flying from porches and flag poles. Their hax will have to be pretty good to overcome all the Trump voters this time around, wich I expect will be many times more numerous than in 2016.
