The Deception of the Black Lives Matter Movement

It is sad that so many people are being deceived by the “Black Lives Matter” movement. The people pushing and leading this movement do not believe Black Lives Matter, except if it is politically convenient for them. How can I say this, by watching their actions.

For example, a week ago a young black man was killed in the Capital Hill Occupation Protest (CHOP), set up supposedly to support the Black Lives Matter movement. This young man was murdered and there has been little to no outcry from the BLM leadership, there have been no calls for justice and no marches. In fact, those supporting the CHOP are refusing to talk to the police, ensuring that the family of this young man have little chance to experience justice. In fact, the only BLM supporter to even acknowledge the killing, Seattle City Councilwoman Kshama Sawant, at first tried to use this young man’s death to advance political points, saying that the attack was perpetrated by right wing attackers. Unfortunately for her this was contradicted by actual witnesses who said it looked like a gang incident. When that came out, she stopped talking about it.

This morning another young black man, who was 16, was killed at the CHOP after he drove into the barriers. He was gunned down by “security forces” after driving his car into the barriers at the CHOP. Not much is known except that the he was with a young 14 year old black teen who is in critical condition after being shot multiple times. There is no indication that either teen had a gun, they just wrecked their car. Had the police done this the entire country would be protesting, but since is was done by people supporting BLM, there is silence. And again, there will be no justice as the people in CHOP stripped the area of all evidence and they are refusing, again, to talk to police.

That was just in Seattle. There has been a lot of violence this last weekend, actually the last few weeks, against blacks by blacks, but it is ignored. In Chicago a 20 month old boy was killed in a gang altercation, again no marches, no protests, his life does not appear to matter (but make no mistake, his life and death do matter).

That was just in the last 96 hours. But this was even going on during the “protests” when a retired black police officer was shot in the stomach in St Louis and then left to bleed to death while the “protestors” laughed and filmed his death.

If black lives actually mattered to these people then each of these deaths, and the ones I have not mentioned, like the 19 year old young woman who someone walked up behind and shot in the head, would have a similar reaction from the people supporting BLM. Unfortunately, their lives and deaths do not advance the political agenda of those who lead this movement.

My heart breaks as I write this. So much death and destruction. So much pain. I cannot even fathom what the parents of that young boy, of any of these children, teens and adults are going through. It breaks my heart that the same movement that claims to be wanting justice is actively obstructing justice for them. Why? Because the only time black lives matter for BLM is when their death can be used for political gain.

BLM has been taken over by communists and Marxists. They use people, like you said, to further a political agenda.

Just look at the protests. It's hard to find a black person in all the marches now. Most are white.

I'm guessing they're using their "white privilege" to usurp the BLM movement, now.

    Sad all the way around.

of course black lives matters has nothing to actually do with black lives. It is a great strategy against the mentally week however. They created a system which shields them from reproach, any criticism and the response is simple, "RACIST".

Sure, in SOME cities there are 'some' angry black activists, usually because of where they are (usually in a city where there ARE problems) but in my area, I see tons of BLACK LIVES MATTER placards on cars. ALL Of them are driven by young WHITE WOMEN with pink, blue or purple hair with Butch Lesbian haircuts. Not a single black person in sight. Hmmmmmmmm.

The Black Lives Matter organization is a political action committee who's goals are to destroy the freedoms in the USA. Black lives matter as a thought is not the problem, but try to tell that to the brain dead people that are old enough to be the future of this country.

I think the good news is I am finding more black conservatives out there. They are starting to feel more comfortable speaking up, or at least social media lets them get their voice out.

Agreed, i'm finding far more conservative black voices on social media than in 2016, Candace Owens is leading the black conservative revolution. If you get a chance check out Anthony Brian Logan, he has some interesting takes on current affairs.

Is that area still "occupied"? If so, where the hell is the mayor? Letting them get away with that just encourages more lawlessness.

Local gun owners should do the militia thing and take back the town. I can't believe the "occupiers" are getting away with that shit. It's ass kicking time!

When they attacked the Mayor's house, she had enough. She sent the police in and they ended the "occupation."

However, she didn't do a thing UNTIL they came after her and her family.... It appears to be a different story when shit happens to you and not someone else....

It's amazing how quickly things get taken care of when it gets real personal.

Police took it back yesterday morning, finally. 2 dead, at least 4 shot, untold numbers mugged and raped (according to the police chief), every square inch of the zone vandalized. This should be the only advertisement needed for Trump to be re-elected.

As for gun owners, you are talking about Seattle-King and Pierce county, places so far left that they elect openly socialist politicians to city and county councils. Politicians who brag about driving business away from the city and county. A place where the city proudly puts up a statue of Lenin. They don't own guns and people who would do this do not deserve the support of us who do own guns. They have gotten what they voted for.

2 Black men killed, 2 more shot, 1 almost to death, but you are right, she did not take action until she was in danger. Black lives matter to her as well.

Logan makes some very good points.

In a semi related story, the couple who painted over the black lives matter artwork have been charged with a hate crime.

But taking down a statue of a president, or a leader of the emancipation movement is not a hate crime.
